Job Vacancy: Assistant Manager, Finance
Location: Bintulu, Sarawak
Salary: RM8,000 – RM11,000

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager, Finance to lead our Finance Department and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a small finance team, including a Senior Finance Executive and 4 support staff.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial and management reporting in compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and statutory accounts.

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and foreign exchange exposure.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

• Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.

• Implement internal controls, corporate governance processes, and process improvements.

• Support procurement processes, vendor approvals, and business unit tenders.

• Assist management in pricing policy formulation and value creation initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting / Finance (ACCA/CPA/MICPA an advantage).

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting/auditing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Strong knowledge of statutory accounting, management accounting, and treasury functions.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, and develop team members.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Proficiency in SAP and strong analytical skills.
