Job description:
Job Requirements - Review of electronic component lifecycle and product change notification and provide recommendations on future supply
- Assessment of component alternatives as recommended by supplier and / or customers based on component datasheet and customer component specification.
- Resolve issues in component discrepancies at site goods-in with suppliers and / or customers
- Coordination of RoHS, REACH, Conflict Mineral and other material compliance declarations
- Work closely with site engineers on item master creation, system Bill of Material (BOM) upload and maintenance
- Maintain integrity of Approved Manufacturers List and Item Commodity Codes in ERP System
- Prepare labour route and Non-recurring engineering (NRE) estimation for New Project Quotation
Knowledge:Formal education and work experience - Degree/Diploma in a related discipline (Electronics/Component Engineering)
- Three years previous experience in a related field
- An understanding of ISO9001 quality systems
- Process knowledge in electronic manufacturing (PCA and Mechanical Assembly)
- Knowledge in part search database is an added advantage
Skills: Practical/Specialist skills - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Advanced Excel mastery is an added advantage
