Project Analyst – IT Security Operations

💰 Salary Range: RM5,000 – RM9,000
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Analyst to join our IT Security Operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting IT project delivery, financial tracking, and operational reporting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to large-scale IT initiatives and cybersecurity governance while working closely with project managers, finance teams, and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of IT and business projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Track IT expenditure, assist in budget monitoring, and ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain budget trackers, spend papers, and project documentation for audit and review purposes.
• Liaise with Finance and IT teams to ensure cost alignment, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.
• Assist in preparing presentations, management reports, and business cases for project updates and reviews.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors on project schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
• Maintain comprehensive meeting notes, action trackers, and risk logs.
• Support the tracking and management of project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, IT operations, or financial/project support.
• Basic understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
