IT Program Manager (Banking)

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager with a strong background in core banking systems to lead and oversee complex IT programs from initiation through delivery. This role is critical in ensuring that technology initiatives align with business objectives, especially in the banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of core banking platforms and operations.

The IT Program Manager will manage multiple large-scale IT projects, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. With at least 15 years of experience in IT project and program management—5 of which are in a leadership capacity—the candidate must demonstrate a proven track record of success in delivering high-impact programs within the financial services or banking domain.

Key Qualifications:

• Extensive experience managing IT programs within the core banking environment.
• In-depth knowledge of core banking systems and associated regulatory and operational requirements.
• Ability to align IT solutions with banking business needs and strategic goals.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and risk management capabilities.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certifications preferred.
