Job Summary

A leading Bank in the financial services sector is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Central Testing Facility (CTF) to spearhead the establishment and leadership of a centralised and independent testing function.

This strategic role will play a pivotal part in transforming testing practices by standardising processes, driving automation, and ensuring consistent software quality across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, capable of managing high-performing teams, and experienced in optimising testing operations at scale.

Establish and lead a Central Testing Facility to unify and standardise testing across all technology initiatives.

Develop and implement test strategies, methodologies, and automation frameworks aligned with business and IT goals.

Manage and mentor a team of testing professionals, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and accountability.

Oversee test planning, execution, and delivery to ensure defect-free and high-performing software releases.

Work closely with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to align testing efforts with project timelines.

Track and report on key testing metrics such as code coverage, defect density, and testing progress.

Drive adoption of test automation and performance testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner).

Ensure all testing issues are promptly tracked, escalated, and resolved with detailed reporting to stakeholders.

Continuously analyse and improve testing processes, frameworks, and team capability.

8–10 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with 3–5 years in a senior leadership or Testing CoE role.

Demonstrated success in setting up and managing centralised testing functions within large-scale organisations.

Experience working in the banking or financial services sector is strongly preferred.

Deep expertise in test automation, performance testing, and CI/CD integration.

Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, and modern test management platforms.

Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
