Software Asset Management Executive (Banking Industry)

Job Purpose:

To ensure the correct interpretation & modelling of license position of the different software types/publishers. Has the latest knowledge of the license structure for the different publishers. Manage and handle audit performed by vendors & provide evidence of compliance position. Giving advice and recommendations to optimize the usage of the software and reduce cost for entities and the Group. Mitigate unnecessary usage of the software. Keep track of the license position & pool to allow validation & quick response to demand for software. Able to relate to the hardware/devices that contained the software & applications.

Strategic Planning:
Support SAM strategic goals and ensure cost-effective services aligned with the organization's ITAM objectives.

Software Asset Management:
Analyze software data to determine license positions, support renewals, manage compliance evidence, and optimize license usage.

Governance & Compliance:
Adhere to SAM/ITAM procedures, improve processes, and ensure governance across IT operations.

Data & Audit Management:
Maintain accurate SAM data, manage audit responses, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.

Relevant Degree in Information Technology or related field

3–9 years of experience in Software Asset Management or ITAM
