Senior Quality Engineer

✨ Lead quality assurance for large digital banking platforms, including mobile wallet and online banking applications.
✨ Ensure that all releases — new projects, regular updates, and production fixes — meet functional and performance standards before launch.
✨ This role helps maintain system stability, improve performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver a smooth customer experience.

🗝️ Key Responsibilities
-Release Quality Management
-Validate and certify monthly releases
-Perform impact analysis and ensure release readiness
-Prepare quality reports and support sign-off
-Performance & Reliability Testing
-Design and execute performance tests (JMeter, LoadRunner, Locust)
-Analyze CPU, memory, latency, TPS, and error rates
-Conduct JVM, heap/thread dump, and database performance analysis
-Recommend system tuning and capacity improvements
-API Testing & Automation
-Own end-to-end API testing lifecycle
-Build and maintain automation frameworks (Postman, Newman, Katalon)
-Integrate API automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
-Prioritize and automate key APIs for regression testing
-Monitoring & Defect Management
-Monitor applications using Grafana, CloudWatch, Dynatrace
-Log, track, and triage defects in JIRA
-Lead root cause analysis (RCA) to reduce production defect leakage
-Collaboration & Leadership
-Work closely with Developers, UAT, Product Owners, and Release Managers
-Mentor junior testers and promote best practices
-Maintain documentation (test plans, RTM, reports) in Confluence
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives

✅ Requirements
-Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
-3+ years in Quality/Performance Testing (banking or financial services preferred)
-Strong API testing and automation expertise
-Experience in database and Java performance analysis
-Familiar with cloud and APM monitoring tools
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
