Role Purpose
The Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day performance of the sales team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on pipeline velocity, team coaching, and ensuring monthly/quarterly sales targets are met through disciplined activity and effective lead conversion.
Responsibilities
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Executives to achieve individual and collective sales quotas.
• Pipeline Management: Oversee the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to site survey and final proposal. Ensure the CRM is maintained with 100% accuracy.
• Tactical Execution: Conduct weekly sales reviews and "on-the-job" coaching to improve the team’s technical pitch and objection-handling capabilities.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and pricing in the SME and Industrial sectors, providing feedback to leadership for strategy adjustment.
• Client Relationship: Act as the primary point of escalation for client concerns during the pre-construction phase to ensure a smooth transition to the Project team.
Requirements
• 5–8 years of experience in Sales, with at least 2 years in a people management or "Team Lead" capacity.
• Experience in Solar, HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Equipment sales is highly regarded.
• Strong "closer" mentality, proficient in CRM software, and excellent interpersonal communication.
