Job description:
The Senior Billing Executive will lead, supervise, guide and motivate a team of junior staff. He/ She will be involved in various responsibilities, which include but is not limited to supporting billing/ TV Configuration requests for Corporate/ Consumer products or services besides analysing and configuring these requests into the backend system. He/ She will provide customer support for billing configuration enquiries and complaints and be the lead for split billing enquiry, investigations and reconciliations. This role also acts as a SME by providing billing advice to various internal stakeholders besides supporting and monitoring day to day operations in revenue assurance, revenue reconciliation & usage rejections. Responsibilities - Check incoming requests to confirm all given information are filled up correctly in template; no missing or wrong information; no typo error for IPCC (I – Pegasus Configuration Centre), M2M rate plans, MMIG etc.
- Analyse the request and verify against respective system to ensure the request is valid for configuration.
- Provide guidance to requestors who sometimes may not be so familiar with template filling or unsure of the requirements.
- Manage Corporate customers’ requirements, including explaining/ educating the Account Managers on processes, requirements, system limitations and workaround.
- Investigate irregularities detected and resolve operational issues and feedback brought to the team’s attention with necessary escalation to the Manager/ Director.
- Review processes, identify gaps and recommends enhancement within the area to increase efficiency and productivity
- Perform revenue assurance activities as per agreed schedule to ensure no revenue leakage
- Perform usage and bill production reconciliation activities as per agreed schedule to ensure billing integrity in place
- Analyze usage rejections using system reports and order details. Resolve rejects according to SOP and on time as per KPI
Requirements - Diploma or Degree in Business or Accounting, IT, or Finance
- Minimum 5 years experience is a supervisory role leading a team
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel (Vlookup), Powerpoint with good analytical skills
- Able to write and communicate clearly in English.
- Work experience in handling billing operations, UAT and/or telecommunication industry is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with any resources he/she have on hand
- Good stakeholder management skills
