General Purpose of Job As a member of the GBS continuous improvement and business partnership (CI&BP) function, you are responsible for driving and facilitating lean and process improvement initiatives across the organization. This includes the development of supporting Lean mindset and culture, to drive significant cost savings while maintaining / improving service quality. This role is responsible for partnering with function leadership teams to assess current processes and identify key financial and process improvement activities. You will also support the creation of the Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) vision and implementation of a strategy to reduce lead times, improve customer (internal) responsiveness and communication, eliminate waste, and find efficiencies. Prioritized Essential Functions and Responsibilities • Responsible for driving and directing the execution of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and continuous improvement initiatives targeted towards financial benefits and significant process improvements • Collaborate with key stakeholders (global process owners, functional leadership, etc.) to meet and exceed CI targets aligned to strategic priorities and goals, that result in increased productivity and significant cost savings • Develop a strategy to deploy LSS techniques across the organization designed to drive the continuous improvement program to higher levels of contribution • Develop value stream maps for the organization and eliminate process waste through the implementation of LSS techniques • Lead and develop Lean facilitators and a continuous improvement culture • Support management of a robust review process of CI initiatives, which involves scoping, selecting, and prioritizing projects including an analysis of resource utilization • Lead, facilitate and influence process improvement initiatives to feed, develop and grow the CI/Lean pipeline and deliver year on year efficiencies • Supervise all members of the LSS team directly and indirectly through their defined organizations and provide mentoring, coaching and development on an ongoing basis. This includes establishing a structure for on-going training – key to program success while serving as master trainer of LSS tools and concepts to Green through Black Belts • In collaboration with functional leadership, identify, engage, and manage talented candidates to become Lean Six Sigma practitioners (Black belts and Green belts) Other general responsibilities: - Support continuous improvement transformation at GBS, including development of supporting mindset and culture, to drive significant cost savings while maintaining / improving service quality Apply Now Back to Job Vacancies |
