Job Descriptions: 

• Perform preventative maintenance and advanced troubleshooting and repairs of production and facility equipment, proactively identifying and resolving recurring maintenance issues in the assigned area.


• Manage boiler operations, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations according to DOSH.


• Conduct electrical or mechanical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of boiler, motors, instrumentation, and controls.


• Identify deviations and document/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.


• Monitor contractors on small maintenance projects.


• Work in accordance with all relevant requirements, including but not limited to ATEX, GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety guidelines.


• Participate in lean activities.


• Maintain housekeeping, sanitation, food safety, and safety standards in line with company guidelines.


• Perform administrative duties, including creating and closing work requests using the maintenance management system (SAP).


• Assist the Maintenance Lead and/or Supervisor in delivering technical training to staff and following up on work orders.


• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance & Engineering of Factory Equipment, Machineries, and Utilities.


• Educational background in Diploma or Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) in engineering-related fields.


• Relevant manufacturing industry background, such as food, chemicals, plastic, or semiconductor.


• Boilerman license by DOSH or 2 years of experience using a boiler is required.


• Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.


• Proficient in the safe utilization of hand tools and equipment for the installation, disassembly, and testing of electronic, pneumatic, and electrical devices.


• Ability to operate forklift and good mechanical and/or electrical abilities, e.g., welding, plumbing, pipefitting, or electrical work is advantageous.


• Skilled in creating, sketching, and redlining standard machine and process drawings, while also delivering concise and precise instructions.


• Basic knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.


• Strong learning agility, adaptability and problem-solving skills.


• Responsible, proactive, and independent.
