Test and Software Engineer

Job Descriptions:

• Interact and work with cross functional teams like, Test & DebugEngineer, QA Lab team and Engineering team.
• Able to study and understand the project requirements.
• Capable in selecting suitable system, controls system design, software architecture and development.
• Develop application software for new test setup and requirements.
• Upgrade existing software to cater new test requirements.
• Selection of sensors, integrating with control system and software as per requirement.
• Documentation of software design, changes and updating of SOP.
• Upgrading existing NI Hardware/LabVIEW application software to new versions based on requirement.
• Troubleshooting and addressing any issues in controls and software.
• Testing and Validate application software before deploying to the test setup. Preparing SOP and train the Process engineer.
• Will require the write test program using Python programming language.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Computer Science with relevant experience of 2 to 3 years in LabVIEW.
• Experienced in using different versions of LabVIEW and latest version of LabVIEW with toolkits.
• Understand the requirement, design, and develop the NI LabVIEW based data acquisition and control system.
• Experienced in developing modular, scalable applications using standard architecture in LabVIEW.
• Experienced in integration any Third-Party programable Instruments (Non-NI) i.e., Multimeter, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Micro ohm meter and others hardware and software will be added advantage.
• Experienced in Python programming language will be added advantage.
• Good experience in sensor selection, sensor wiring and troubleshooting the signals.
• Ability to work individually and as a team.
• Hands on experience in signal level and system level troubleshooting of data acquisition and automated test system.
• Good documentation skills for capturing requirements, preparation of design and SOP.
• Willing to work in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
