Job description:

We represent our client, a leading supplier of building materials in Malaysia seeking for Compensation & Benefits Specialist based in Selangor. 

Job Responsibilities : 

  • Manage and process employee movements, including recruitment, promotion, transfer, and exit, ensuring accurate payroll updates.
  • Administer monthly payroll and employee benefits in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Support the implementation and review of compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive pay and benefits structures.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to HR and payroll.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (e.g., Workday) and safeguard sensitive information.
  • Prepare HR-related reports, such as headcount, attendance, and government submissions.
  • Communicate compensation, benefits, and HR policy information clearly to employees.
  • Assist in annual salary review, bonus exercises, and other HR projects as assigned.

Requirements

 

  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices and regulations
  • Attention to detail and ability to deal appropriately with confidential information
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in using Workday and SAP system
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Possess a high degree of integrity and display maturity when dealing with stakeholders
