Job description:
Responsibilities: - Take the lead in creating and implementing company's financial plans.
- Manage all financial operations, such as budgeting, risk assessment, investment selection, and forecasting.
- Oversee a group of accountants and make sure all financial rules are followed.
- Create financial reports on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis for the board and management to evaluate.
- Produce predictions and analyses financial data to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Create and put into place internal controls and secure financial procedures.
- Control resource allocation, bank reconciliations, and cash flow.
- Work together on cost-cutting and funding measures with the board.
Requirements: - A track record of accomplishments as the director or head of finance, or in a position comparable.
- A thorough grasp of bookkeeping principles, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
- Practical knowledge of risk management, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- Excellent data modelling and analytical abilities, along with software expertise in accounting.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as the capacity to inspire and guide a group of people.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline; an MBA, MSc, or other pertinent certificates is preferred.
- It is preferred to speak English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently.
- The role will be based in Indonesia. Ideally, Malaysians who are employed in Indonesia or who are open to moving there (Malaysians living abroad).
