Job description:
What does the role involve? \n\n\n\t- Month-end/Year-end reporting obligations
\n\t- Tax and statutory compliance
\n\t- Create fixed assets as per the local entity’s procurement policy.
\n\t- Ensures correct Accounting for Fixed Assets with reference to the Finance Manual.
\n\t- Maintain the fixed asset register for both group and local reporting
\n\t- Support physical fixed asset stock takes as per the Finance Manual requirements.
\n\t- Provide guidance to internal customers on the Fixed Asset policy.
\n\t- Perform the operational tasks per the control requirements under the ICS frame work.
\n\t- Follow up and escalate issues with the responsible parties within each entity for the resolution of issues.
\n\t- Support and resolve any GL related audit topics.
\n\t- Perform Intercompany billings as required.
\n\t- Perform Intercompany billing reconciliation in the Group Reporting tool (BOIC) as per Group reporting requirements and resolve all reconciliation differences before due date.
\n\t- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality.
\n \n\n \n\nWhat you need is: \n\n\n\t- Educational achievement at degree level or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
\n\t- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in areas of General Ledger reporting and tax submission.
\n\t- Solid knowledge of finance and a good understanding of double-entry/bookkeeping.
\n\t- Enthusiastic, proactive and self-reliant person with good communication skills.
\n\t- Hands-on experience with SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
\n\t- Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) with auditing experience is preferred.
