Job description:
Job Responsibilities: \n\n1. Preventive Maintenance \n\n\n\t- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for production equipment, including bottling, labelling, and packaging machines.
\n\t- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is operating at peak performance.
\n \n\n \n\n2. Troubleshooting and Repair \n\n\n\t- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform troubleshooting procedures to identify root causes of issues.
\n\t- Execute repairs promptly to minimize disruption to production operations.
\n \n\n \n\n3. Technical Support \n\n\n\t- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff regarding equipment operation and safety.
\n\t- Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper functioning of all machinery and adherence to safety & food safety standards.
\n \n\n \n\n4. Documentation and Reporting \n\n\n\t- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
\n\t- Generate reports on maintenance activities and equipment downtime for management review.
\n\t- Prepare SOP for end users where required
\n \n\n \n\n5. Continuous Improvement \n\n\n\t- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
\n\t- Attend & participate in discussion on new equipment, tools & software
\n\t- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in equipment maintenance and reliability.
\n \n\n \n\n6. Safety Compliance \n\n\n\t- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
\n\t- Promote a culture of safety within the workplace and participate in safety training programs.
\n \n\n \n\n7. Other Responsibilities \n\n\n\t- Ensure maintenance tools, maintenance workshop and equipment are in good & hygienic condition.
\n\t- Ensure workplace is always in good housekeeping.
\n\t- May be required to work on shift in rotation basis with the other maintenance technician.
\n \n\n \n\nJob Requirements: \n\n\n\t- Possess a Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or any other related Engineering discipline.
\n\t- Minimum 5 years in similar functions and preferably from food manufacturing.
\n\t- Experience working in beverage industry is added advantage.
\n\t- Familiar with CMMS, SAP software.
\n\t- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
\n\t- Experience with PLCs and automated systems
\n\t- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
\n\t- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
\n\t- Knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMP.
\n\t- Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point etc).
\n\t- Candidate must be willing to work in Rawang, Selangor.
