Specialization: FOOD TECHNOLOGY OR NUTRITIONIST
Job description:
Job Descriptions: - Manage autonomously assigned R&D development projects, for in-house manufactured products in existing ranges, from ideation until post launch follow-up (advise on brief creation, formulate, and make sample, sensory and physical-chemical analysis, regulatory verifications, ageing tests, organize production trials, CIP validation, creation technical documents, validation of labels, product certifications, etc.).
- Understand company's product policies and ensure that they are well applied.
- Proactively participate in continuous improvement (laboratory organization, new procedures, training, enriched database, etc).
- Understand how to work with countries regulations and build and expertise in terms of compositional standards, additives, and labelling rules for the assigned countries.
- Ensure that the related databases are always up to date.
- Lead/participate autonomously in projects as assigned:
- Perform technical, scientific, regulatory and competition intelligence monitoring.
- Interact and collect necessary information within all departments of companies.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Provide assistance regarding customer enquiries and non-conformity management.
- Organize sensory training when needed.
- To perform any other job that may be assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or related scientific disciplines.
- At least 3 - 5 years working experience in similar function, preferable from similar industry.
- Experience in project management, sensory panelist and analyst.
- Analytical, innovative, proactive and organisational skills.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc).
- Knowledge of manufacturing process.
- Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin language will be an added advantage.
- Candidate must be willing to work in Rawang, Selangor.
