Core Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Monitor and maintain Linux-based applications (RHEL) and mission-critical middleware including JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.

• Issue Resolution: Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for application and database issues (Oracle/MySQL) to ensure long-term stability.

• Optimization: Write and refine Unix Shell scripts and SQL queries to automate processes and boost system performance.

• System Maintenance: Oversee patching, deployment cycles, and ensure strict security compliance and system health.

• Collaboration: Work seamlessly with cross-functional development and infrastructure teams to maintain 24/7 system reliability.

Requirements

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Unix Shell Scripting and SQL is mandatory.

• Middleware Expertise: Hands-on experience with Kafka, MQ, WebLogic, or JBoss is essential for this role.

• Professional Experience: 3–5 years specifically in Production Support or Application Maintenance.

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Soft Skills: An analytical mindset with a high sense of urgency regarding incident management.
