About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading global professional services and technology organization, is expanding their Global Infrastructure & Platform Services (GIPS) team. They are seeking a talented Developer – SBE Build with strong Linux and middleware expertise to support major enterprises in building their digital core and mission-critical platforms.

Role Overview

As a Developer – SBE Build within the GIPS SBE (Standard Build Environment) sub-domain, you will be responsible for building, configuring, and supporting Linux/Middleware environments, primarily on RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka. You will work closely with infrastructure and application teams to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and drive automation across Unix/Linux environments integrated with Oracle/MySQL databases.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong L2 engineer (3–5 years' experience) to deepen expertise in enterprise-grade platforms and middleware technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka environments
\n• Develop, refine, and optimize SQL queries for Oracle and MySQL databases
\n• Troubleshoot and resolve middleware, infrastructure, and environment-related issues
\n• Support system monitoring, logging, and automation activities
\n• Participate in incident resolution, including root cause analysis and permanent fixes
\n• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployment, configuration, and environment management processes

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Linux/Middleware administration
\n• Strong proficiency in:
\n– Unix/Linux (RHEL)
\n– SQL (Oracle/MySQL)
\n– Middleware technologies: JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, Kafka
\n• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex, enterprise environments
\n• Basic knowledge of automation and scripting (e.g., Shell scripting, Ansible or similar tools)
\n• Ability to perform and deliver in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
\n• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to support technical and project teams
