Finance Data Analyst (Project & BAU Support)

Job purpose

The Finance Data Analyst will support both project and BAU activities related to finance data across HR systems and other platforms. The role involves reviewing and maintaining finance data models, coordinating with Local Business Units (LBUs), Shared Services, and system administrators, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of master, reference, and transaction data. The analyst will also define governance frameworks, support finance teams with Level 2 data inquiries, and develop analytics dashboards using Power BI.

Core Responsibilities

  Review and maintain finance data models across development, SIT, and UAT.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Manage Master Data, Reference Data, and Transaction Data (mappings, hierarchies, codes, exchange rates, etc.).

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Coordinate finance data requirements with LBUs, Shared Services & system admins.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Support data governance: define operating model, BAU processes & golden data sources.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Provide Level 2 Finance Support for data issues.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Build Power BI dashboards and support analytics.

  \n\t
\n

Qualifications & Skills

• \n\t

  Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, IS, or related field.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Strong understanding of finance data structures, hierarchies, mappings, and data flows.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Experience with Data Insights / EPM tools.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Proficient in Power BI or similar visualization tools.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Knowledge of data governance frameworks.

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
