Company Background
Our client is a multinational company (MNC) headquartered in Taiwan in the electrical and electronics industry with global operations. Currently, they are looking for a SMT Engineer to be based in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan.
- Monday to Friday
- Allowance will be provided

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Engineer will primarily be responsible for evaluating, implementing and monitoring processes and operating systems for the SMT department.
- Will be expected to support SMT equipment, AOI, SPI, Xray, Wave solder machine and rework equipment.
- Program Xray inspection machine
- Debug, and maintain SMT pick and place equipment
- Create soldering profiles for SMT reflow ovens and wave solder and rework equipment.
- Finetune the SPI (solder paste inspection) machines inspection criteria
- Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and rollout new procedures
- Evaluate, implement, and monitor SMT processes and operating systems
- Monitors and improves efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes
- Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades
- Communicate with supervisors and peers to resolve issues
- Participate in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvement
- Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards
- Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in electronic manufacturing environment
- Must be able to do analysis on all SMT equipment and process related issue
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Ability to read engineering documentation, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working experience with RoHS and no clean processes
- Working knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD001 workmanship criteria
