Job description:
Basic Job Functions: Lead a team of accountants in Accounts Payable department and manage the Company’s accounting and financial compliance requirements. Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Manage month-end close procedures by ensuring all invoices received before cut off are posted, review of journals, balance sheet reconciliation, analytical analysis for relevant accounts
- Keeps track of the status of all transactions taking place within the company and external vendors
- Oversee the resolution of issues escalated from team members
- Oversee employee expense claims' process
- Oversee payment transactions and process
- Oversee tax-related processes, i.e., 1099 information and filing
- Support quarterly reviews and annual audit with internal & external auditors
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Accounting policies and proper execution of controls laid out in the Sarbanes-Oxley documents
- Ensures that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness
- Ensures that the accounts payable and the company’s financial obligations are met efficiently
- Drive for continual improvements in all areas of your responsibilities
- Be active on the business collaborating and be quick and accurate with communication
Experience: 10 years of related working experience in similar area in a large MNC Education: Bachelor degree or related professional qualification in Accounting Required Skills: - Behavioral:
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to research and identify problems, develop proposals, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with others.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to drive decisions and execute effectively both long and short term projects
- Attention to detail coupled with an ability to identify and crisply articulate key messages and actionable items

- Technical:
- Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Knowledge of local company laws and tax regulations
- Proficient on MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and etc
- Strong working knowledge on major ERP systems, ie SAP, Oracle & etc
- Good supervisory skill
- Strong communication and presentation skills
