Finance Manager – General Ledger and Reporting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Monthly Management Accounting (MMA) Reports

• Prepare and review Group Reporting, including P&L, cash flow & balance sheet, and including budget & forecast, at company and consolidated levels

• Perform Group companies’ financial analysis on business indicators / trends (eg margins, overheads) per schedule & on ad hoc basis

• Prepare and review Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations

• Prepare and review Group Intercompany Reconciliations

• Prepare and review monthly reports :- Prepayments, VAT returns, Fixed Assets, etc

• Review month trial balance, identify and prepare adjustment journals

• Review monthly journals :- Payroll, Cost & Revenue Accruals, etc

• Co-operate / support internal & external auditor / Tax Agent’s requests and queries

• Assist in monitoring closely on Group companies’ Audit, Tax Return, VAT submission and filing status

• Perform ad hoc tasks relating to any special project

• Implement new processes & improve existing processes and update operation manuals

• Train and develop the existing & new staff in existing & new tasks

• Assist with recruitment, including resume screening, interview & hiring proposals

• Accept and meet KPIs for individual tasks as well as team duties

• SLA guided in terms of accuracy and timeliness

Requirements

Candidate must possess:

• Finance / Accountancy degree, professional certification or equivalent

• Minimum five years’ working experience in the related field (Full Set of Accounts /

Group Reporting / Business Analysis) in SSC / BPO

• Minimum two years’ experience in staff supervisory

• Excellent skills in Excel spreadsheets – formulae, pivot table, vlookup, edit link function & command, etc

• Excellent English skills - speaking, reading & writing

• Positive character with high commitment; always stay open and flexible

• Good understanding in multi-national environment and accept multi-cultural

• Good team player and willing to be trained
