Job description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Interact and guide the business to formulate their analysis requirements. Design solution to fulfill these requirements.
- Migrate remaining SAS scripts and reports to our new AWS data platform
- Develop and implement data training program and data communities to foster data culture across the business units.
- Establish business cases to initiate new data transformation initiatives and convince stakeholders to provide support.
- Identify and evaluate the right partner to implement the initiative and supervise the partner during implementation.
- Drive cultural change with regards to data at all levels, executives, managers, employees
Qualification - Bachelor / Master Degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience of data analytics and data transformation in a corporate or consulting setting.
- Good track record of driven data transformation and strong leadership skills to influence stakeholders in order to drive this data transformation.
- Requires strong analysis, design and data modelling skills, coupled with the ability to develop, and deploy sophisticated applications using advanced unstructured and semi-structured data analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills expected with the ability to prepare business cases and present business cases to higher management stakeholders.
- Exposure to the General Insurance industry is also expected.
- Hands-on Experience in SAS coding
- Strong Experience in SQL coding
- Hands-on Experience in python, spark and pyspark coding
