Sales Engineer - MNC based in Penang

Company background:
Our well-established client is an MNC specializing in advanced equipment distributor in semiconductor industry. They are looking for dynamic and result oriented candidates to fill their current job opening of Sales Engineer, to be based in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Responsibilities:

• Manage sales activities & promote company range of products to semiconductor and PCB industry.
• Follow up on sales enquiries, sales prospects, and payment collection from customer.
• Maintain goods services level and rapport with existing client and built-up new customer base.
• Provide support on technical issues clarification.
• Assist in sales quotation and tender documents preparation.
• Managing customer orders and ensuring orders are processed efficiently.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics/Optoelectronics, Materials Science/Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in sales or engineering role within the semiconductor/PCB or optic industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability communicates in English, Malay, and Mandarin languages. 
• Possess strong communication, written and interpersonal.
• Possess teamwork spirit and positive attitude.
• Able to work independently.
• Willing to travel across Malaysia.
